Great day at grinding stone. It's always tough racing there as most of the karts we race against have built motors, and we just run our jr-1 motor.

Matt is getting better at driving every time out and today was good for him.

Race 1 we started on the pole and ran good the whole race. Mia chapman was waayyy fast today. She flat ran away from us. Matt held second for a couple laps then got passed by Kali kinsman. He was running a solid third when Mia had her chain pop off. We got her going only to have it come off again a lap later. She pulled off so we were in second. Matt ran there till the end of race 1. congrats to Kali on the race one win, matt second and Trent oulett third.

2nd race and we started on the last row. Mia again ran away from the field. It took matt a few laps to get around a few karts and make it to 4th. Mia was gone, Trent and Kali were battling for second. Matt finally caught them just in time for Kali's motor to start sputtering. She ended up pulling off with an engine failure. Matt chased Trent for the rest of the race. Mia actually caught us tha last two laps but held back and didn't lap us. Thanks Mia, that gave matt and trent room to battle. In the end Trent held matt off. So the second race was Mia chapman first, Trent oulett second and matt third.

That made the overall be Trent first, Matt second, Kali third and Mia fourth overall.

It was good clean racing and a blast to watch.

I really have to thank Scott from Xmf. This morning we were getting things ready and I noticed the frame was broken just above the trailing arm mount on the left side. I thought we were done and not going to make it. A quick call to Scott and he said bring it over. He welded it up, gusseted it and we made the race. Thanks Scott!!!!!

Thanks to Xmf, desert hills air conditioning, Pdm, Douglas wheel and tire, 2x Motorsports, foddrills, Kevin Mcmullin, and grinding stone mx park.
