After a great start but an unfortunate 2nd lap pile up pushed us back to near last. Matt drove his ass off to a third place finish, he was so happy!

At tech 2nd was disqualified for being 60 or 80 lbs underweight, so we were second. Good times!!

We can't thank Xmf enough for all the help. Without them I'd be lost.

Congrats to Conner Mcmullin for the jr-1 win and Lauren knupp for third.

Also we want to congratulate Mia chapman for her win in outlaw kart. Way to go Mia!!

Volkspower Racing

Hopefully ASCC learned from this that this is why we want the rules enforced, we didn't have the best of mains which I think was somewhat due to Lauren being on the go all day and the slippery track that's to the water truck, but she drove a good race and stayed clean to finish 4th. Was very pissed and happy at the same time when I found out 2nd was VERY underweight, just can't believe that it is so hard to follow rules. The hardest part for me was Lauren not getting her 1st podium experience, but Tim was nice to let her go back up for a quick word.
Lauren didn't get a chance to thank her sponsors and she wants everybody to know that she wouldn't be where she is right (along with me) now with out the help of Kevin McMullen! We also want to thank "Fig" Naughton for his help and for the hook up on some parts and tires, Fod Motorsports, Lucas Oil Products, Behrents Performance, Fleming Motors and Volkspower Racing for all there help. We should all still be battling for points so Kingman will be fun!

the race was awsome. a little hot durring the day but cool at night in the jr1 good job to conner for winning. and congrats to matt on second place.
in the j2 weston won the race with parker in second and a great race. in outlaws mia chapman won and ryan got 3rd that was a good race. in the mod i won and sterling in the mod. good clean race.

I would like to thank Tim and Dan for the great weekend. Great racing weather was good for the finals Weston Schuck killed them in jr2 Conner won jr1 and Scotty won mod thanks Tim and Dan.

Great job to all the trophy kart racers that came out and raced this weekend. Friday night on the first practice I put on a new chain and forgot to put on the clip so on turn 3 in the first lap it spit the chain out, big thanks to the towtruck driver that took the time to look for it after practice and then brought to my camp

We did pretty good in the heat race then when it came time to fire up the motor in staging for the main event I almost had a heart attack when the pull start jammed, a couple of times of beating on the housing and we got it started.
My hats off to all the drivers, they sat in there cars in full race gear in staging in the warmest part of the day and then drove there butts off in qualifying...you kids rock!

A big thanks to the R&R Motorsports family for bringing out the snow cone machine, the kids loved it.

Jr got a AWESOME start coming from last place in the main, passing 3 Karts by turn one, worked his way through the field to 3rd place only to be spun out (By cheater kart too light). Worked his way back up to 4th and taking out in last turn and rolled! I'm so proud of Jr for driving his heart out and driving a clean race.

I want to thank AZ Dirtworx, FullTilt Karts, McMullen Fabrication and Transaxles, Volkspower Racing and my Gramps and YaYa as well as my entire team for all their help and support. Without their help we would not be where we are at!
